There’s a new band of mean girls in town and they call themselves Good Christian Belles, or GCB! The ABC series premieres this Sunday and stars LGBT darling with the big Broadway pipes Kristin Chenoweth, Leslie Bibb (Popular, Crossing Jordan, ER) and the always-welcome Annie Potts (Designing Women). The series is based on Kim Gatlin's book Good Christian Bitches.

GCB's  plot hinges on a close-knit community of Bible-quoting Dallas fashion plates - think Desperate Housewives meets Mean Girls or even Pretty Little Liars to some extent - whose rivalry with Bibb’s Amanda Vaughn, the ostensible Regina George of the group, heightens when Amanda returns to Dallas following years away. Potts plays Amanda’s gun-toting mama.

The series is created by Robert Harling, the gay writer of modern classics including Soapdish, The First Wives Club and the play and screenplay for Steel Magnolias.

Here are a few clips from the GCB!
