NCIS star and ardent LGBT rights activist and ally Pauley Perrette Tweeted her position that she won’t marry her fiancé until Prop 8 is repealed.

The actress, best known for playing the quirky forensics expert Abby on the long-running show NCIS, became a staple at same-sex marriage rallies including Light Up the Night and Resolution Day --which featured a performance of Prop 8 the Musical -- following the passing of the gay marriage ban in 2008.

Perrette, who is engaged to Thomas Arklie, Tweeted this week that the couple will not be walking down the aisle until Prop 8, which she calls “unjust,” is repealed.

She first Tweeted "Me & My Marine are totally engaged now but will Not Get Married Until Prop 8 is Over,” according to Contact Music, and later clarified with the following Tweet.

Last January Perrette wore a NOH8 – a photographic silent protest against Prop 8 – dress to The People’s Choice Awards.
