"PSA to remind you that bisexual people, we exist!”

Pop singer-songwriter Halsey defended herself yesterday after haters began questioning her bisexuality.

What began as an innocent National Coming Out Day post quickly turned into a commentator battleground.

"Happy #NationalComingOutDay ! ya girl is #OutAndProud," wrote Halsey, who publically came out as bisexual in 2015.

The negative comments sprouted up like wildfire.

“Out as what?? You’re dating a man,” said one commenter. “But isn’t she with g eazy,” added another. A particularly mean-spirited user said, “Pride for what shes a straight girl who hook up with the occasion fm when she's high.”

Halsey took to her Instagram story to deliver an important bisexual PSA.

“So I posted on my Instagram for National Coming Out Day that I’m out and proud, and everyone’s commenting like, ‘But aren’t you dating G-Eazy?' So I wanted to take a moment to make a PSA to remind you that bisexual people, we exist!”

This isn't the first time the 24-year-old has had to defend her bisexuality. Halsey, who has used she/her pronouns in several of her songs, previously went viral with a joke about her sexuality.

"So if I’m dating a guy I’m straight, and if I date a woman, I’m a lesbian. The only way to be a #True bisexual is to date 2 people at once."
