We must stan.

The internet is slowly being taken over by nutcrackers. Specifically, it's being taken over by Target's new Pride version that comes decked out in the LGBTQ+ flag and a pink beard.

The doll first appeared on social media earlier this month — specifically in a TikTok that's racked up over half a million views, and is beginning to quickly sell out in stores nationwide. It wears a rainbow hat and holds a version of the Pride flag intended to include communities of color.

“Show your advocacy for LGBTQIA+ friends and family in fun, festive style with this Pride Nutcracker from Wondershop,” the nutcracker’s description reads. “Showcasing a man dressed in traditional nutcracker costume ... this decorative figurine helps you get in the rhythm for a fun and festive Christmas. The bright color scheme adds a merry touch to your seasonal display.”

But one artist online decided that going out to Target and buying the Nutcracker wasn't of interest. Instead, they turned it into art.

After a quick query online, the artist known as Oriacalcon turned a figure known as Jack into the queer nutcracker we never dreamed of. The art came complete with pink body hair. And we have to say ... it's beautiful.

All hail Oriacalcon (warning: link contains some NSFW art) who is apparently available for commissioning if you have any ideas!
