Setting fire to the rain wasn't the only show-stopping moment at Adele's final concert on the Australian leg of her tour in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday.
According to The Huffington Post, Adele spotted an audience member who was sobbing during her performance of 'Hello' and asked the emotional wreck (Chris) to come on stage. Chris walked up, as well as his boyfriend, Wade, who promptly dropped down on one knee and asked Chris to marry him.
Thankfully, Chris said yes and the pair embraced in front of 77,000 screaming fans.
Adele is ecstatic as she hugs the newly engaged couple. "I had no idea that was going to happen," she tells the audience. "Congratulations!"
“I just kind of blacked out and all I could see was Chris and Adele standing there," Wade told BBC. "To share the stage with her, if only for five minutes, is really incredible. We’re very much in her debt.”
Wade says they haven't made any wedding plans just yet. Same-sex marriage is not yet legal in Australia, so they might be considering a destination wedding. The couple will be holding a celebration with family and friends in Australia.
The proposal is unbearably cute, as is the overjoyed Adele. We wish Chris and Wade all the best with their lives together!
