Lush, the well-known bath bomb purveyor and everyone's favorite progressive cosmetics company, revealed a brand new ad campaign last weekend, and it is one of the most adorable and queer-inclusive ones we've seen in a while.
“Our Valentine's Day goodies are even better when you've got someone to share them with. Online and in shops now: https://t.co/e7OJujFK3I”— Lush North America (@Lush North America) 1484852343
“Last week, we posted a photo that created quite the stir! Let us set the record straight. Big tubs - they do exist! #bathgoals #loveislove”— Lush North America (@Lush North America) 1485197697
“To everyone marching today, time for some well-deserved bubbles! #bettertogether #womensmarch #loveislove”— Lush North America (@Lush North America) 1485046032
The campaign, which launched to gear up for Valentine's Day, features pictures of a gay couple and a lesbian couple bathing together in a tub using Lush's famous, all-natural, cruelty-free bath products. But this isn't the first time Lush has taken a stand for LGBT people. Shortly after marriage equality was passed in 2015, the cosmetics brand sold a #GayIsOk bath bar in a majority of their stores, with the proceeds benefiting LGBT charities across the world.
Lush's latest ads are simple yet sweet way to center non-heteronormative couples during a holiday that is overwhelmingly marketed to straight couples, and we couldn't approve of it any more if we tried!
