Apparently, a former employee of hers did.

Over the weekend, a transphobic meme was shared on what looked to be rapper Cardi B's official Facebook page.

The post, which has since been taken down, caused controversy in the LGBT community, and Cardi herself took to Twitter to address the issue.

"It's come to my attention that there have been offensive posts made on what used to be my Facebook page," Cardi tweeted Sunday afternoon, placing the blame on a former employee who still had access to her Facebook page. "For the past year and a half a FORMER team member has been the only one with access to the account."

Although Cardi talked about it, many think her tweet wasn't enough of an apology, especially since she didn't explicitly acknowledge that the meme was specifically harmful for the transgender community.

As NewNowNext points out, this isn't the first time Cardi B has been caught up in scandal regarding transphobia. Last year, she came under fire for using a trans slur in a social video where she was talking about how she would get revenge on a boyfriend if he ever cheated on her.

Yikes.
