Disney/Marvel Characters React to Georgia's Anti-Gay Bill
So, Georgia's governor has a bill on his desk called the Free Exercise Protection Act. If signed, it will allow faith-based businesses and organizations to refuse services to individuals they feel come into conflict with their "sincerely held religious beliefs." Haven't we heard this one before? Not-so-thinly veiled homophobia.
And it seems like we're not the only ones sick and tired of this kind of discrimination.
A spokesman for Disney (the company that also owns Marvel and Lucasfilm), had this to say in a recent statement:
Disney and Marvel are inclusive companies, and although we have had great experiences filming in Georgia, we will plan to take our business elsewhere should any legislation allowing discriminatory practices be signed into state law.
Nicely said! But how do some of our favorite Disney and Marvel characters feel about this?
Ariel can't even.
Belle's had it with these shenanigans.
Abu's about to cut someone.
Hulk is clearly displeased.
Star Lord has no problem expressing his feelings on the matter.
Snow White be trippin'.
Timon can't believe this $#*!.
Mulan is literally spilling the tea.
Captain America is P.O.'d.
Pongo and Roger are pretty ticked.
Black Widow's all, "Seriously?!"
Thor's screamin' about it.
Even Mickey Mouse himself is shocked by all the hate.

Dustin loves writing, reading, and movies, and is basically a cat lady. He's passionate about travel, but most of all, he's obsessed with a little space opera called Star Wars.
