If you’re bi and haven’t been to Portland, Oregon, you're really missing out on a great city. Portland can do for bisexuals what San Francisco has done for gays, and here's why:

1. There are a lot of us. bi
There are a huge number of men, women, and everyone in between living in Portland who identify as bisexual. In a recent study, a whopping 17% of the city's responders identified as bi.

2. The LGT community is more accepting of bi folk.not gay
When more of us are out, open, and proud about our sexuality, we become more visible and naturally begin to dispel false misconceptions about bisexuality. As a bi guy in Portland, I didn’t feel any discrimination from the rest of the LGT community, as they had met so many bi folk before me.

3. The governor of Oregon is an open and proud bisexual woman.Bi
Kate Brown is the first and only serving head of state to identify as bisexual. If that’s not good for bi visibility, I don’t know what is.

4. Portland has bi nights at many clubs and bars.Love is Love
A safe space for not just gay men, but for both queer men and women to socialize with other bi+ people! How awesome is that?! I know every second Tuesday is Bi Bar at Crush.

5. There is also a large polyamorous community.bi
Since there are a lot of bisexuals who are also polyamorous, many bi folk would be happy to know there is a large, active poly community in Portland.

6. There are male and female strip clubs.strippers magic mike
...so you can objectify any gender you choose! (Just kidding…)

The strip clubs are insanely fun, friendly, and positive. Definitely worth going to if you want to have a fun night out.

7. Portland is vastly queer.hot
The LGBT community in Portland is vastly queer, and does not just consist solely of white, gay, cisgender men. Every gender seems to be out and proud, and there's space for every sexual orientation in the city.
